Hello Medium friend!
I'm an American living la vida loca in Greyton, Western Cape, South Africa - a charming town in the Overberg region famous for its artistic community.
As an IT entrepreneur, executive Cybersecurity consultant, and Biotech investor, my days are filled with everything tech and science-y.
Currently, I'm leading a team of young scientists on a top-secret mission, just kidding, it's not that secret, to merge artificial intelligence, Big data, and Biotechnology with blockchain to tackle genetic disorders and chronic diseases.
On the personal front, I’ve got a story to tell:
I was married for two whole years yep you heard me right, a whopping 24 months, but the marriage ended when I realized my husband Tom was becoming abusive, manipulative, authoritative, and controlling so we parted ways and I’ve since then being focusing on my career–no kids just code and science.
My mom, being the wise woman she is, forced me to keep a diary since I was 12. Little did I know, it would become something meaningful in my life, I’m now so interested in writing.
Fast-forward to today, and I've discovered Medium - the perfect platform to share my expertise, experiences, and probably a few bad jokes. Please don't laugh at me...
